Currently: Final year at McMaster University
I am an Honours Communication Studies student here at McMaster University. I just spent the last semester studying abroad in Melbourne, Australia. I love snowboarding, going to concerts, taking photos, hanging out with my amazing friends and family, watching YouTube, reading, meeting new people, going for walks down at the waterfront in my home town, working at summer camp and being a sister of Delta Psi Delta. But I definitely don’t love writing about myself, so bear with me.
At the beginning of my second year at Mac, joining a sorority was never part of my plan, but here we are today! I was lucky enough to have been approached by the sisters of Delta Psi Delta after passing their booth at ClubsFest and was told about their recruitment events. I’m so glad that I had taken a different route to work that day because becoming involved with Delta Psi Delta has been one of the best decisions I could have made. Not only was I able to form amazing new friendships, I have been able to continue doing Philanthropy work on a regular basis, something that has been a big part of my life, which was exciting because I found it hard to find ways to reach out to volunteer in the community on my own in first year. I am so happy to have such incredible sisters who are always there to support me, laugh with me, and make the best memories with me. Becoming a sister of Delta Psi Delta has changed my life for the better and has made my undergrad experience at Mac that much more meaningful. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us! Dove Love <3

I love Star Wars (and pretty much anything else science fiction) and Lord of the Rings. I have spent most of my life collecting comic books and vinyl records. I watch way too much television and spend way too much when I’m online shopping. I never wanted to go to McMaster, as growing up in Hamilton made me want nothing more than to move away. However, here I am, a second year Humanities student at McMaster University. Although McMaster was never a part of my big life plans, I have grown to love and truly appreciate the path I have found here. It has led me to one of the best decisions of my life, joining Delta Psi Delta, and I have never felt more grateful. The chance I have been given to grow with and close to the amazing sisters of Delta Psi Delta has been a wonderful opportunity

I moved across the country to attend the Health Sciences program at McMaster, and I didn’t know a single person when I got here. I wanted to join as many clubs as possible and get involved in my new school, but I also wanted to expand my boundaries and try something unique and exciting. When clubs fest came around in early September, a group of girls wearing DPD letters caught my eye. Quite unexpectedly, I found myself going through recruitment, becoming a New Member, and after 3 long months, finally becoming a DPD sister. If you would have told me a year ago that I would be a part of this amazing organization, I would never have believed you! Fast-forward three years and I cannot imagine my university experience without this lovely family of sisters. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to take leadership roles in our executive board which has truly allowed me to develop life-skills and gain experiences that I would never have been able to elsewhere. Joining this sorority was one of the best decisions I made, I wouldn't take it back for the world.

I'm currently studying chemical engineering and majoring in Polymers Materials and Manufacturing at McMaster. It's the ultimate dream of mine to work in the cosmetics industry for manufacturing. I'm also obsessed with Michael Ray, green tea soy lattes, and puppies. Joining Delta Psi Delta was one of the best decisions of my life. After first year, I was stuck on the idea of finding someone or something to call my own. My friends had their own "thing" to turn to if I wasn't around, but with me, if they weren't there, I didn't have anyone. It was Clubfest 2015 when I met Julia Covelli, whose eagerness and perkiness caught my attention to join a sorority. When she cried during info night about how much she loved her sisters and how much of an impact they had on her, I truly believed and witnessed with my own eyes the power of a sisterhood. I knew right there and then, that this, Delta Psi Delta, was what I wanted to call my own. My own friends. My own sisters. My own family.
The past few years being a part of the sorority, I took on the positions of Recruitment and Social Media Chair. It's amazing to see how far our sorority has come, and with these positions, it gives me the ultimate advantage to show you girls all the perks that comes from being a sister of Delta Psi Delta. We promise the candid photos aren't that fake and I assure you we'll be real tight by the end of your recruitment period!! (I really hope that doesn't creep you out yikes). I'm excited to continue being your Recruitment Chair and Social Media Chair this 2017-2018 school year xo
P.S: In terms of backstabbing girlfriends and hazing, it's nothing like the movies. But the unity of sisters? Yeah that's definitely us. Dove love forever!

Even though I was really excited for it, coming to university completely blew me away. I was both in awe at how big everything was and in shock at how small I really was. In this big beautiful university, I joined many clubs and attended many events and always had a really fun time, but it wasn't until I became a part of Delta Psi Delta that I found something was really my own. The sisters I've gained and the bonds that we created are something which no one can really understand until they experience the love of someone, who a year ago was a stranger, is now willing to bend over backwards to help you without you even asking. I am so incredibly grateful to be part of something so special and amazing that I can carry out with me for the rest of my life. Being a sister of Delta Psi Delta really opened the doors in my life to new beginnings.

Oh hello! A bit about me, I'm a chemical engineering student who loves cats, sushi, music, art, my family and friends - and Delta Psi Delta! Being a part of this sorority has been so eye-opening for me, the experience broke all the stereotypical notions about sororities and made me realize how lucky I am to be able to call this amazing group of girls my sisters. Although we are all different and unique in our own special ways, at the end of the day, we're always there for each other and mesh together like peanut butter and jelly. By being a part of Delta Psi Delta, I feel that my life has a lot more balance when it comes to not only doing school work, but also going to social events, doing volunteering work, and just having some much needed girlfriend time! I'm so excited to see what the future has in store for us! Dove love.

Just like all the lovely ladies from the alpha class, I myself is also a Marauder. I am in the life sciences program and started my first year of University with a lot of questions and open pages. I was a very involved girl in my high school so joining clubs and organizations was already part of my plan, but A SORORITY....? Never in my life have I thought i would be part of one, but I said why the hell not. Hearing about Delta Psi Delta gave me a smile and seeing the sisters and their bonds gave me a sense of belonging. so here I am an active sister of Delta Psi Delta, excited and in content with all the memories and the 3.00a.m phone calls. From here on this family will only grow bigger and I cannot explain how grateful I am to be part of this.
P.S. I would love to pursue a career in the field of sciences/medicine.

I’m obsessed with my cat maggie, I love watching/playing basketball; I’ve played since I was in grade 6, and I’m from a pretty small town. I’m doing a psychology major at mac and hope to find a career in mental health. I have a bit of a dry and sarcastic sense of humour but I love to laugh at anyone who has something funny to say. I’ll watch any super hero/gory/stupid movie you want to watch. I have never got along with girls, I always thought they were too catty and cliquey. But I took a really big risk meeting the girls from delta psi delta and it was a great choice. All of these girls are so caring and are great friends. I’m so happy I decided to join the sorority and become a part of something great.
