Being on this page, you're here for one thing: you're either really intrigued in the lives of Delta Psi Delta or you're really interested in joining our sisterhood. Delta Psi Delta stands for unity and we would love for you to be a part of that. You're probably thinking that recruitment period (or "rush", from what you hear) is everything like the movies, but we hope our FAQ sets it clear that it is not. Yes, the mixers with other fraternities, philanthropy events, weekly chapter meetings, and the forever sisterhood does exist, but we assure you that there is so much more to it than that.
Considering being our forever sister is the first step of recruitment and we hope you stay until the very end.

Delta Psi Delta's recruitment period starts as early as June and continues throughout the summer until the end of September, and starts again for winter recruitment in January. Recruitment events do not start until the beginning of September for Fall Recruitment, and the beginning of January for Winter Recruitment.
Recruitment Process
This September, we will be posting frequently on this website and our social medias (Instagram and Facebook) with our events and their time and location, so often check back with us to find out more. Registering for this Fall Recruitment 2023, we will also keep you updated with emails so you don't miss out. See below.
Recruitment lasts for the whole month of September (and January for second semester). During this period, the sisters of Delta Psi Delta present you a social calendar full of events, such as mixers with other fraternities, philanthropy events at our local charities, and internal events with just us girls. All details about recruitment events will be given in the list below. During this time, you will be considered a potential new member. A potential new member is a title given during recruitment to a girl who is interested in the sorority and participates in our events. You can also attend other sororities' social events (we actually advise it), and see if we're the sorority for you. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know us and for us to get to know you. It is recommended that you attend majority of the events to meet every Delta Psi Delta active. We are just as excited to meet you as you are to meet us!
Nearing the end of September or January, you will be offered a bid and you will continue further as a new member, which you don't have to worry about until the time comes. Best of luck, ladies.

Recruitment Calendar
These are the events you will be participating in. It's usually released with the rest of the Greek organizations at McMaster University. This time lies around mid-August and eary-January, just to prepare you for what will be coming up this school year. Be sure to check out all sororities to see which one is best suited for you. Attendance for majority of the events are recommended for a bid.
